Even though Danee was very young, ever since she joined the Hunters, a group whose mission was to eliminate the threat of dangerous mythical creatures, she always had stood out. She frequently dispatched creatures that were more powerful than someone of her limited experience should have been able to kill. Everyone said that it was likely that she would soon earn the title of Senior Hunter in her first year in the association, something that nobody never achieved without previous military or police experience.
Unfortunately, her talent begun to be eclipsed by her pride and over-confidence, and in her hubris she accepted a case to hunt in a park near the city to eliminate a creature which had not yet been identified. She left without taking the needed precautions, and didn't take a partner with her.
Her lack of caution cause her to be surprised by the creature from behind, and thinking that she would be faster than the creature, she tried to attack by turning quickly and stabbing it with her two hand blades Horrified, she saw the eyes of the creature and understood her error! Danee tried to cover her eyes with her free hand, but it was too late!
With a loud crackling sound a chill ran down her spine, and she was quickly turned to stone. Concrete, more specifically, demonstrating that the creature was a gorgon. Gorgons adapt to their environment and over time can alter the material that they transform their victims into. Studying her victim, and identifying her as a hunter, the gorgon smiled, and with her claw marked the nearby bench. Gorgons 1, Hunters 0. The gorgon still had her diabolic smile as she walked away from the helpless, petrified hunter.
When it was morning, the careless hunter was found by the people who toured the park. Even thought the statue was in an odd pose and wearing clothes they all simply thought that she was a new decorative statue, and didn't give it another thought. All the while, the hunter's mental cries for help went unanswered. She was getting very worried. There is an antidote that will reverse a gorgon's petrification , but only if it is applied to the victim within the first 24 hours after the transformation. It was getting close to the time limit, way to close...

She wanted to help and protect against these creatures, The problem is that there just as most people. Secondly once it strikes your paralyzed in stone. Your able to see and think. But if you don't get the counter-agent you'll be stone. If your luck. If not your a statue. Third your put in area which your seen but not noticed!!!
